Give what you want, whenever you want. We put it wherever it is needed most that month, whether that is the centre, the weekly programmes or the festivals.
The recurring bills that keep the doors open at Helmstraat 9: energy, water, cleaning, insurance and the small repairs. This is the running cost, not the building work.
The building work at Helmstraat 9: renovation, fit-out, equipment and furnishing. One-off investment in the place itself, not the monthly bills.
Covers food distribution during our events and gatherings — groceries, kitchen costs and serving, so everyone who comes gets a meal.
Our Gītā courses are free to join. Donations cover the video conferencing tools and digital infrastructure, website upkeep, event organisation and venue costs, learning materials, and bringing the programme to more communities. As the programme grows we may move to a donation-based model to keep it sustainable; every gift, large or small, helps carry these teachings forward.
Each gift is tied to a named project, with a receipt and a full record in your donor portal.
As a recognised ANBI, your gift is deductible. A five-year periodic gift is fully deductible without a notary.
Payments run through Mollie; all donor data is stored and processed inside the European Union.
Our inspiration
Founder Pontiff of Avadhoota Datta Peetham, Mysuru, India — mentor and inspiration behind SGS Benelux. His teaching of selfless service shapes everything this foundation does in the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg.
Seva in the Low Countries
Weekly gatherings and cultural programmes at the centre in IJmuiden, food distribution (Annadanam) at events, and the Gītā Mahāyajña study programme, which is free to attend. Donations pay the running costs of the building, the renovation work, the food and the materials — the programmes themselves are run by volunteers.
